Sally Metcalfe

Sally Metcalfe is a founding partner in Evans Edwards, L.L.P. She was born in Dallas and raised in Arlington, Texas. She has worked as a trial lawyer since graduating from The University of Texas School of Law in 1993. While at The University of Texas, Sally served as a Teaching Quizmaster and was elected a member of The Order of Barristers. Prior to attending law school, Sally worked as a Treasury Analyst for Tenneco Gas in Houston after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University.

Sally was a partner in the law firm of Whitehurst, Harkness, Ozmun & Brees, P.C. where she worked as a trial lawyer for 15 years before forming Evans Edwards, L.L.P. Sally handles a variety of cases involving product liability, insurance bad faith, construction defect and medical negligence.

Sally's professional associations include the Austin Bar Association, Travis County Women's Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association. Sally is also the president-elect of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. Additionally, Sally is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a Fellow of the Travis County Women's Law Association.

Sally and her husband, Steve, have two children. She is active in the community and serves on the board of Texas Legal Services Center as well as teaching Sunday school at St. Michael's Episcopal Church.

Sally has been admitted to practice before the State Bar of Texas, the United States District Court - Western District of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
